Support your pupils through cycling.

Cycling to school brings many positive benefits: keeping children fit and healthy, building their confidence and giving them skills for life.

Our nationally accredited programme provides an award scheme to support schools to make it easier for pupils to cycle, encouraging more sustainable transport choices.

Cycling Scotland is working with partners at a national, regional and local level, to increase affordable access to bikes for children and young people and make sure that everyone in Scotland has a safe and appropriate place to store their bikes.

Please fill out this form and we will keep you informed about any funding/support updates or email CyclingFriendly@cycling.scot to find out what support is available in your area.

Our nationally recognised award accredits the pupils, teachers and volunteers around Scotland committed to increasing cycling in schools. Schools are supported through each step of the process towards becoming Cycling Friendly, from the initial registration to assessment.

Every school in Scotland can take part: all you need is a vision to help more young people enjoy all the benefits that cycling can bring.

Schools across Scotland have been accredited with our Cycling Friendly School award for their commitment to encouraging pupils to cycle.
